Ingredients
The 100% active form of folic acid contained in the Naturell Folate Forte 800µg supplement is calcium L-methylfolate.
L-methylfolate has an advantage over regular folic acid in that it does not have to undergo such a multi-stage transformation in the body into an active form. Thanks to this, it is absorbed better than ordinary, inactive folic acid. This can be important, especially for people with the MTHFR gene mutation, which hinders folic acid metabolism.

The expiration date of these tablets is so short that they cannot be used up within this time. There was no response to two requests. Unfortunately, I only read the review afterwards that this is probably common for this product.
180 tablets, expiry date in October, means I can't use them up, not very sustainable. That's a shame. I like the product itself, but it sucks if I can't use up the recommended daily amount in time.
Perfect for pregnancy and the desire to have children. With a diameter of 1 cm, they are easy to take. They have no unpleasant odor and taste neutral.
The folic acid tablets are super processed. Act high quality
These tablets are properly dosed for an already existing deficiency. My ferritin levels are way too low and my GP advised me to also supplement with folate as it may be related. Not folic acid is particularly suitable for this, but natural folate, as in these tablets. They are easy to swallow. I hope this product will serve me well now.
